Biography

After graduating from OSU in 1996, Ben Wahlstrom turned his mechanical engineering interests to automated manufacturing systems. For seven years, he worked for Accu-Fab Systems of Oregon, a large tech-based automation company. At Accu-Fab, Ben rose to the position of mechanical engineering staff manager and also managed systems integration projects with revenues as large as $11 million.

In 2001, Ben joined Cytopeia, Inc., as vice president of engineering and manufacturing. Then, combining his background in custom systems with an advanced approach to standard product design, Ben launched Korvis Automation, Inc., in February 2002. He currently serves as the company’s president.
